The game died?! I guess it's official. I remember playing this demo years ago and really liking it. Randomly felt like looking into it today. It's a shame the game was never finished. >_<
Well, if I can't pay for a complete game, I'll take the free demo and keep it. What these guys did really is despicable...
Ah, for anyone still wondering... it is official, as of now. Turns out, the game never went past that demo. The guys took everyone's money, and ran off. The guys they worked with that weren't exactly part of the team, like the music composer, know nothing of what happened or where they went. Even the official website is gone, up for sale.
This is really freaking sad... but what they did was just disgusting. Hope they do face charges.
At least anyone can still get the demo on Gamejolt, along with the OST, composed of a whoppin'... 2 songs. Riveting. And hey, secret tip: while the KickStarter page has proven to be filled with crass lies and empty promises, there is a secret message in there to be found. In fact, I also hid it right here in this message, to save you all some time! Something to push the demo's GameBoy style to the... next generation.
Ah, you're one of the backers?? There's a guy on YouTube that started to work on a full recreation of the game, to make justice to the guys that were tricked into that scheme! GS Studios, look him up. Try to see if you can pass the word to the other backers, they may want to know this.
